Our Affiliate is dedicated to serving our community by providing a valuable service to both Consumers and Family Members.
We are working together as a team to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community that has a biological based brain disorder.
Programs that we provide at no cost are:
Family to Family : A twelve week course that every family needs to take.
Peer to Peer: A nine week course that will change a consumer's life by bringing stability and understanding.
IOOV "In Our Own Voice: Have ever wondered what it is like to live with a mental disorder? We provide speakers that can help you understand what that is like.
NAMI Connection: If you are a consumer, this program will connect you with people that understand you and care about you.
Our Affiliate has been widely-recognized as one of the best of its kind in Virginia. Our membership is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact upon our community. We welcome you with open arms.
